WE ARE SAFEHIRE CERTIFIED
Bullimore Plant Hire has undergone a rigorous assessment to achieve the high accolade of being SafeHire Certified. We adhere to all guidelines to provide the best service for our customers, and we are regularly reviewed to ensure we align with the continually changing requirements.
This accomplishment is another reason to hire from us, along with our excellent customer service and quality products.
WHAT IS SAFEHIRE?
SafeHire is a BSI private standard created by and written for the hire industry with the help and guidance of the British Standards Institute. It was originally written following a disastrous ‘Which’ report in 2010 that outlined everything negative about the industry. The association took a positive stance and determined that it needed to reverse the perception created by ‘Which’. Members fully supported this proactive action to mitigate the impact of the report but also to enhance confidence in the hire sector for the longer term.
SafeHire is a continual Business Improvement Programme that both sets and helps maintain the standards of operation for HAE EHA members, and the standard guarantees the consistency of approach during the assessment. It also provides greater transparency and reassurance to clients, customers, and trading standards.
THE CUSTOMER BENEFITS OF BULLIMORES BEING SAFEHIRE CERTIFIED
SafeHire Certification provides our customers with an absolute peace of mind. Not only does the certification prove competence in safety, health, environment and quality and to meet our customer’s demands for high service standards, but it also demonstrates that we have a well-trained workforce to support customers as fully as possible.
As part of the SafeHire Certification, we are inspected yearly. Everything from paperwork to day-to-day operations and environment is checked for compliance – notably a comprehensive visual inspection of the ready-to-hire kit. However, to raise the bar, even when a business passes certification, if there is room for improvement, we will know about it.
We are proactively investing in health and safety training and reviewing our policies and processes to avoid accidents and keep our customers, employees and the general public safe.
